Description
Fantasic and easy to make.
Ingredients
- 2 pk refridgerated cresent rolls
- 1 lb sliced swiss cheese
- 1 1⁄4 lb deli sliced corned beef
- 1 cn sauerkraut rinsed and drained
- 2⁄3 c thousand island dressing
- 1 egg white; lightly beaten
Instructions
1. Unroll one tube cresent dough into one long rectangle; seal seams and perforations. Press into the bottom of a greased 13in x9in baking dish. Bake at 375 degrees for 8-10 minutes or until golden brown.
2. Layer with half the cheese and all of the corned beef. Combine sauerkraut and dressing; spread over the beef. Top with remaining cheese.
3. On a lightly floured surface, press or roll the second tube of cresent dough into a 13in x 9in rectangle, sealing the seams and perforations. Place over cheese. Brush with egg white.
4. Bake for 12-16 minutes or until heated through and crust is golden brown. Let stand for 5 minutes before cutting.
Notes
You can add 3 teaspoons of caraway seeds on the top before baking if you want to.
